Caitlin grew up minutes from the dunes of Lake Michigan and an hour from the buzz of Chicago. She first came to Minneapolis for school and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Design in Architecture along with a minor in Product Design. Her enthusiastic curiosity led her to study architecture and design in Copenhagen for a year as well as a semester in Rome and Istanbul.
Throughout her studies, Caitlin researched at what point do persons start to have creative ideas using simple tests (it’s after roughly nine ideas!), and presented her work across the US. Caitlin has been a part of the SALA team since 2016. Her fresh ideas on design and her hardworking attitude have contributed to the formation of some great SALA projects. She’s happiest when swimming in lakes, rivers and oceans and diving into new creative endeavors.
