My childhood home is situated on an acre of land adjacent to a city owned ravine with a public walking trail. The entire house has been remodeled in phases over time with the largest addition incorporating a family entry, dining area and weaving studio. We have recently completed a screened porch to replace the existing south facing one which had begun to sag. Our house is a blend of contemporary elements and the simple traditional vernacular of an 1880’s farmhouse.
