Isaiah is a young architect focused on thoughtful design, honest materials, and environmental responsibility. He and his wife, Maura, live in a 1911 red brick duplex in Northeast Minneapolis they share with family and their loving dog, Ollie. Isaiah has experience with ADUs and designing for alternative and multi-generational living. He believes architecture has an ability to shape the way we live together, as families, as neighbors, and as cities. He is honored to be a part of that process on projects large and small.
Isaiah majored in Studio Art at St. Olaf College before completing his Master of Architecture at the University of Minnesota where his final project designing a public toilet facility received the Richard Morrill Award and his portfolio was recognized with the Thomas F. Ellerbe Scholarship from the Minnesota Architectural Foundation. He recently received the Rapson Traveling Study Award to study climate responsive urban design and architecture in Vienna, Brno, and Prague.
