Ross Davidson
Associate · AIA

Raised in a new suburb outside of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Ross grew up playing in construction sites and tagging along with his mom, an interior designer, on home tours and trips to High Point furniture market. That early immersion in the way spaces are designed and built planted a seed that grew into a lifelong curiosity about how things are made.
Ross believes good residential architecture is deeply personal, shaped by the rhythms of daily life, the character of a place, and the integrity of craft. A background in photography, cabinetry, and furniture design grounds his thinking in materiality and detail, and gives him a keen sense of how light and composition define a space. He enjoys figuring out how things go together and collaborating with the skilled craftspeople who bring a home to life.
Ross holds a B.A. in Design Studies and a Master of Architecture from North Carolina State University, and studied wood fabrication and furniture design at the Penland School of Crafts. He is a licensed architect in Minnesota and a LEED Green Associate.
When he and his dog Desi aren’t in the office, Ross is probably at home in the middle of a renovation project.
