This is a remodel of a tired eat-in kitchen in a Mid-Century Modern for a couple of empty nesters just west of Excelsior with a unique twist; not only did it need updating but the owners wanted to incorporate a mudroom, an office, and a coffee bar as well as table seating for four. And they wanted it to creep into the adjacent dining room, hallway, and living room to draw them into the fold and create a symphony of spaces with a better visual connection to Lake Minnetonka beyond.
