Sassafras Savvy

Designed by Katherine Hillbrand, Bryan Anderson

The Hall house is organized along a series of primary and secondary axes, with open public rooms alternating back and forth along a central corridor, and private rooms accessed from perpendicular paths. The central hall is highlighted by a series of skylights above the hearth. The living room and couple’s bedroom are designed as pavilions in the forest, with large picture windows framing seasonal views.
